You could try and put a magazine over one side for a night or dial the light down a little more. I keep mine at 78 at night. As long as you don't put the plastic wrap under the light it should be fine.
Lucky! Did you get those at PetSmart? I'd like to have one. Mannn, tonight is gonna have me worried. Hopefully the plastic wrap works..

Be sure to poke some small holes in the plastic wrap for ventilation. It will still hold humidity in but will help with air trancefer. I hope it works for you. It won't harm your frog for the humidity to drop a little bit but you'll have to mist I the morning for sure.

Do you think covering a portion of the screen with a piece of particle board would be fine? I put it on there and the humidity has actually raised a tad. Going to keep an eye on it, but it's similar to George's idea with the plexy glass. Lol.

Its ok. I worry all the time. I got the fogger there but ordered the Hygrotherm from Amazon.com. its worth it. It can control 1000 watts of lights and other units.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that! What do you think about what I said before your post?

Yeah that should work for tonight. Actually you can place a damp wash cloth or towel over one side and it will work. I forgot to mention that. Had a DUUHHH! moment. Try that its better.

Great idea! I will do that! By the way, is it normal for their appetite to slow down when it's cold? He/she has not eaten the 3 crickets I put into the habitat, do you turn the infrared light off when you feed at night?

Yes, their appetite slows down when it is colder. They are not dependent on heat to move (the way reptiles are) but they do need heat to digest/metabolize their food. Your frog may be a little stressed from the changes to its habitat, so give it some peace and quiet. You can break the back legs off the crickets to make it easier for your frog to catch them. One night without food is nothing to worry about. Offer the food, and if he/she doesn't seem interested just give "alone time" and try again tomorrow. More than likely with the temps back up, he/she will be an eating machine again in no time!

*sigh of relief* Thanks a lot! I'm going to leave the crickets in there for a little longer, but he/she is digging up a new hole - don't think he/she will eat tonight, but I'll keep trying!
