Okay Both my Greys were bright solid green when I first found them... Frodo changed darker with a pattern and then grey within the first week. However Sam the smaller younger one stayed bright green for a few months... showed pattern off and on periodically (look at album). But if you really want to know watch there back hind legs as they grow . Greys have a very significant yellow markings on there back legs. American Green Tree Frogs get that white line down from mouth down there side. Also Greys have a lil marking almost like a square of different pattern under there eyes from what I have seen. (once again refer to my albums).
