    Toads are tough, whether you move it, or leave it where it is, as long as it's good and fat, it'll survive the winter, but they do make a good pet if you want some info on how to keep toads!

    Maybe bury it in some hay, or throw some hay ontop of it if it still refuses to dig into the ground somewhere. It'll at least keep the mice and other things from trying to chew on it.
