So I have had my tank setup for quite some time now, and I had planned on getting them sooner, but I went on vacation and didn't want to leave them with someone who may not know how to take care of them, and then we sold our house so I have decided to wait until after the move to get them. So after we settled into our new place and I got the tank set back up. Now I just need to add the toads. I am going to get 2 FBT for my 20 gallon setup. It is roughly half water and half land ( I will post pics up later when I get them loaded). Along with the toads I will be getting a couple snails to help clean the water as well as some water plants to add. I am not sure what plants I will be getting yet, except I know I will be getting those small bamboo trees that go into the water (sorry, I don't know the actual name). I wanted to add some tetras into the water section, but my question is, will the FBTs eat the tetra? If so, then I will not be getting them.
Also, where can I get springtails around Richmond Hill? I have not been able to find any places that sell them.
They may well try to eat the tetras.
On the springtails, I don't know who in Canada supplies them. Hopefully someone else will post to help.

Yea I kind of thought they would. Maybe I will just get a couple tetras and see what happens as they are pretty cheap to buy. I hope they don't eat them as I would like to have a little bit more than just toads in the tank. I know mixing is not recommended but I am hoping they will not eat the tetras. I just don't want to buy a bunch of them, and then they turn out to be snacks lol
So I got both of them today. They were very jumpy and active when I got them. As soon as I put them in their new home, they seemed to love it, climbing all over everything and exploring. 1 tried to climb up and push his way out of the screen when he first got put in but seems fine now. I ended up getting a bamoo plant to put in the water and I got 2 snails with black shells. The snails don't really seem active, not sure if that is normal or not. After doing some reading, I have decided not to get tetras due to the fact that they will eat them. I will have pics posted soon
