Tadpoles?

Ok so I had no idea where I should post this. I was looking on Ebay and I found this..

12 LIVE ASSORTED TADPOLES! | eBay

They say the tadpoles are mixed and you will end up with BULLFROG, SOUTHERN LEOPARD & TREE FROGS

do you think it is worth the 11$? or do you think I will end up just getting some cheap little normal frogs found in someones yard?

Anything is possible with a sale like this, then again these are common frogs depending on where you live. Did they specify which type of tree frogs? Bull Frogs/Leopard Frogs are very common. There are a few different types of Tree Frogs that could come in this mixed group. Iguess it depends on where they came from.

These are all common species in the Southern areas.....they are interesting to watch grow like any amphibian is. $11 is worht it if you want that mix of frogs.

Look up indiginous species in that area. That should let you know what you could possibly get. Are you able to ask the seller?

It says they dont know what will be what since the tadpoles look the same, i am guessing they go out when it rains and just get a bunch of tadpoles from puddles maybe?

They may encourage the frogs to spawn in outdoor ponds and use tadpoles & froglets as feeders for frog eating reptiles & amphibians. We have a few small ponds that are swarmed by Gulf Coast Toads during the rains and we do use them as feeders at times (they are treated for chytrid fungus as a precaution!). Or it could be simply a matter of them taking advantage of the fact that their ponds are overwhelmed by these particular species.
