I am new to Dwarf African Frogs. All they will eat is live brine shrimp or bloodworms. I have tried the Frog Tadpole and Frog bites but they will not eat the pellets at all. Is there anything I can do to aclimate the frogs to the nonlive food. What if I only feed the frogs the bites for the next week. I don't want to starve them. Will they starve to death rather than eat.
Try introducing some live food and then slowly try to feed them the pellets. They will most likely adapt to the new food. Don't attempt to just feed them the pellets. They may never eat them and may starve.
Good luck with your frogs.
Unfortunately, African dwarfs are not serious scavengers like their larger clawed frog cousins. It's best to feed them the brine shrimp or bloodworms that they like. Feed them frozen/thawed or fresh, but stay away from freeze-dried as it may cause digestive problems. Blackworms are a great alternative if you can get them. As suggested, try feeding the pellets along with other food, it might work.
