It looks to me like you may need some vet-prescribed antibiotics to treat this. Time to bring the frog to the vet.

Damn...
The herpetologists in Bulgaria are not many, I hope i will find someone who can help the poor little guy...
Thx John!

I just got back from the vet. Unfortunately he has no clue about amphibians (as i thought) and he said there are 0 herpetologists in Bulgaria since there is no university with this specialisation.
What he said is that this swelling looks like the swelling of a reptile when it lacks UV and suggested to put UV-B light for 2-3h per day and see how it goes.
One thing is sure, its not trauma, because the frog use its leg normaly.
Any other suggestions?![]()

I have the displeasure to tell you that one of my critters died all of a sudden... and not the one with the swollen leg!
The frog was really active and even got fed last night and today i found it dead. The poor guy was doing great, had lots of apetite, grew double for less than 2 months and was always really curious and exploring what i am doing in the tarrarium ... There was no sign of this to come, not at all. Im so sad
P.S. Here are the last pics of the little froggie 2 days before the tragic night
