kinda interested in breeding my own food since i got a small tank (2.8g) with a filter and im thinking of having guppies and feeding them out to the frogs. i know i wouldnt be able to get much of them in that tank but is it still possible? no way im buying guppies from a store since they are usualy sick there so i plan on breeding my own. no clue how to do it but is it possible in such a small tank and tips on the basics of doing it would be nice to. ill be giving the pacman frog nightcrawlers as a staple but guppies will also be fed often im thinking. also are these guys fatty like mice where u cant feed them often? if thats the case then there out probaly. also ill probaly be feeding a few small ones to my firebellys to as a treat. if its not going to work for these animals or for the small tank dont bother letting me know how to do it cause what i got is what i use and probaly aint going to buy anything more.
Fish in general make pretty lousy feeders for amphibians. The nutrition just isn't there.
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!
