Well crickets happened to have baby's in my pacs tank is this bad should I be worrying about this or is it fine
Well, in a sense it's bad because enough of them will prey on your pacman - even the babies when they're hungry. So I would either try to remove all the soil coming from where they hatched or just clean out the whole tank and start over. Without food and water they should die within a couple of days or all the way up into a week, but I wouldn't risk it.
Did you notice that there were a lot of them in there? If you don't have time right now to clean out the tank until a later time, leave a carrot or some type of vegetable in there. Keep the soil moist so they can stay hydrated.
Seen bout 5 - 7 of them
Hm, well considering your pacman isn't going to even take interest in feeding on a small pinhead. Just spot clean them out, leave a piece of a carrot in there for precaution.
on the female crickets, you can just cut the egg laying tube off, that's what I do so they won't lay their eggs into the substrate, the female crickets have the dark long tube in the middle between the 2 horns on the butt, males only have the 2 horns
check out the difference between the male and female in the link below

that's a hot tank, the eggs need about 90F to hatch. Females have laid eggs in my tank but it's at 80F most of the time, so the eggs just die. I finally was able to breed my crickets in a separate tank, so I don't have to go buy so many. they breed easy enough, but getting the eggs to hatch takes 90F and moist soil. It's difficult, I tried all summer only to get babies once the cold set in.
same thing happened to me once. best way is clean the whole tank out. if the soil is still pretty fresh and you dont mind a little work to keep it, microwave it for like 5 min or bake it with some hot water to prevent burning.
it's really not a good idea if any of those little thing stays in there. they are too small to be prey and they bug your pac a lot even when they are just jumping around for fun.
cut the tube off before feeding, feed by tongs, watch your pac eat and take the left over out before you leave, or move your pac to another container during feed time.
All good advice. You have lots of options. We had a mass hatching once. We changed out Grif's substrate then moved all the crickets to a smaller tank that we already had. We raised them for a little while for a food source. It was very low maintenance- just throw some food and water in there. We ended up getting a second pacman though, so the crickets got evicted to make room for out new arrival. Haha!
