    Default My Sonoran Desert Toad

So, iv decided to keep one Toad, got rid of the rest that I had. This is Bertha our HUGE Sonoran. She is roughly about 6 inches long or so, bigger then my hand. This is her when shes not puffed up and all defensive. When she puffs up shes like twice the size lol. She is a monster eater and actually seems to like being held, she seems really smart too. When I open up her container she turns around to look at me and when I mist her she puts her body all up as if she loves the water being spreyed on her and she sits there with her eyes closed. she hardly every trys to escape like all the other toads iv had. she seems to like attention tho which is weird for a frog right? lol

    well here she is.

Wow that is a big toad. I can't even imagine how much the girl has to eat to maintain her figure.

She is way bigger then a male would get usually and she does not make any sort of noise at night at all. I have never heard her make one noise so I would guess she is Female?

Crickets, roaches, moths, they eat just about anything that is smaller then them including other toads and small rats. She will eat about twenty to thirty crickets once a week easy.
