We have a 3-4 Month old Pacman frog that has grown ALOT since we have had him the last 4 months and now we keep hearing croaks coming from the frogs tank but never catch him in the act even tho we know its him. Does that mean its a boy? We have a tank with a loud filter near him, could he think its raining near by and already wanting to mate? how long does it take a pacman to reach mating size if fed daily?

If it croaks its a boy. Your frog could very well mistake the sound of water trickleing in the filter as rain and therefore call, but 3 to four months is well below maturity for these frogs as the mature fully around 8 months to a year and a half. Males are noisey so if it croaks definetly male. Females make kind of a grunt or clicking/popping sound which is very difficult to hear unless your ear is right up next to the Pacs face which also puts your ear at risk of becoming Pacman food Lol! congrats its a boy!
