    Default Locusts

I noticed some of my baby Locust hatching this morning and I took a video with my camera but cant seem to attach it. I'm **** at that sort of thing. I will try to get my partner to do it for me tonight. Anyway here is a photo. They are 5mm and wriggle out of the sand/soil mix like worms. You can see them coming out the centre of the container. That's from 1 lay. There is about 4 lots of lays in that one container. then in a couple of seconds they run off. They are a good size now to feed to my young Whistlers so they will be happy.

It's great that you can breed your own food. I might have a go at it myself. Nutritionally I assume that locusts are the same as crickets, and they eat pretty much the same as crickets?
