ADF Cancer? (Pictures)

I have six (6) ADFs living in a 50g tank with various fish. I feed flakes for the fish every day and frozen blood worms every other day, mostly for the ADFs. Five of these frogs have been in the same setup for almost 6 years now. About 3 months ago, I was given a hand me down frog that had been living in one of the little frog tank set up available through Broodstone. It was thin and tiny, seemingly stunned because of its tank, even through the previous owner did the water changes and "fed" him. That little frog went from a tank that was about 6"x4"x6" into a heavily planted 50g. Within a couple of weeks it gained wieght and now looks like the rest of them, more rounded belly. I agree with 'collegekid' your frog does look thin with a hollow belly, so you might first want to increase the amount of food that you give your ADF, especially the meaty foods such as thawed frozen blood worms.

The other thing I would suggest: is that you add at least one more. In a 2.5 gallon tank, two will still fit nicely, especially you appear so diligent in keeping up the water quality These little frogs do much better in groups, and they seem healthier over all when they have a companion, regardless if they are a pair or two of the same sex.

Old thread. And 2.5 gallons is not appropriate for two frogs - 2.5 gallons for one, 5 gallons for two, 10 gallons for UP TO 6.
