What do you guys think of EcoEarth in a Fire Belly Tank ? I got some and it sticks to the toads . One toad tried to eat a cricket and got a mouth full of EcoEarth . I'm thinking I'm gonna get rid of it and use something else .
It's cheap and safe, and it holds moisture well. The only time I ever use it is to help make normal soil have a lighter consistency.

i vote no, simply because fbts like to hop in and out of water and your water will get dirty really fast which can be a pain in the neck to clean. i learned my lesson from my first setup. =|
What you can do is put sea grape ,oak, and magnolia leaves on top of the Eco earth.I mix my soil with Eco earth. Like John said.
Is it better to mix eco earth with normal soil or compost rather than use pure Eco earth then?
