Any one "out there" have an adult female Horned Frog. I would like to know about "her". From what I have read the get pretty large compared to the males. Frog is a male because he makes Horned Frog noises. Hard to describe them. Cheers.
They get a little larger than males. Are quiet for the most part, but can make all the sounds a male can accept the mating call. Females range from 4.25" to over 5" dpending on species.
Do you have a female Horned Frog Grif?
from what I know, females are usually pretty big, make the same noise males make (which is sorta like a deep toad-like call), have longer snouts and are without the swollen skin on their thumb that males usually have.
What species are we talking about? Cornuta/ornata/cranwelli, etc?
I think grifs have most if them, females and males lol
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I don't know what species are available in the box pet stores. I was thinking of all the available species in the United States. Cheers.
Best way is to check the size (4"-5") and for nuptual pads, only males will have these on their thumbs.
