I recently made a change in the amount of water I was keeping in my exo-terra 36"x36"x18". I wanted to create additional feeding space on the botton, as there will be 6 in here soon. The water I removed was heated.
I spent the last 3 days tweaking the temp and humidity settings. I think the size of the enclosure makes it a little tricky?
Thanks goodness the basement is 68- 72 F all year round.

I'm happy with this :
4 thermometers ( one in the soaking dish) and 2 hygrometers in various locations in the enclosure.
So maybe I'm a little compulsive ?
Persistence has paid off.

above : probe type device hanging 18" into the center of the enclosure

whoops - see description below

temp ( on the right-gold) and humidity - these are placed under a plant hanger- upper Left

this white thermometer ( upper right- on the glass)) is four inches from the screened top/under a 50 watt incandescent black light hanging from the ceiling- this reads 80F - wanted to makes sure it's not too hot here under the light

an aquarium thermometer sitting in the soaking dish-- reads 74 F -this bugs me-- it's cool - gotta work on this

any ideas on this soaking water temp ?
