    Default Question....

A few days ago my parents took my nieces to vist there dad. During the visit they found two tree frogs. One I'm pretty sure in Hyla Cinerea Native to Virginia. The other I am not sure. I tried to get pics but was to dark. It is a brown color with white/creame color underside. They insist on keeping them the only problem is that the brown one is acting strange, I've never seen this before. I thought it was in heibernation from what they described to me, but when I went to see it I got a little worried. It is'nt moving much, i notice the breathing and legs move every so often but the body look like it is full of air. Like it was pumped up with air. Any idea what it going on?

I did some searching and think the frog may be a type of chorus frog. Also think it has edema? If so is it treatable without a vet visit?
