    Default My new pacman!

The man at the pet store said he is 6 to 8 months old, I just got him 2 days ago! This is my first frog ever, really excited! I've just been really anxious as to if I'm doing anything wrong, which is probably making my frog anxious as well. His name is Antwon (Yes I know, silly name!)Click image for larger version.

Thank you heather, what are your personal main staples you do when caring for your frog?

congrats on the little guy ! it depends on their size...babies from 1"-2.5" may be fed crickets as a staple, you may also try red wigglers, and earthworms may be used as a staple also

Thanks everyone! The man at the pet store was really nice, he gave me a tub of nightcrawlers, a small bag of crickets, and a small bag of feeder fish all for free. He's still new so I've only gotten him to eat like 2 or 3 crickets so far.

That's fine! Just don't handle him to much... let him get use to it for about 3 days.
then don't handle him unless needed.
They get stressed so easily lol
I wish they had antidepressants for pac man frogs lol

Nice looking green cranwelli. Welcome to the wonderful world of the pacman.lol. These guys are great. They are a laid back pet ,and low maintenance . The same maintenance as the GABF. You don't get you burnt out like with other pets. They don't ask for much. Some food, some water, and dirt..lol

Make sure you cut the night crawlers to an appropriate size for him. PLEASE make sure to use ONLY de-chlorinated water!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your pacman!

Is that coconut husk? You should be using coco fiber. Try a brand like Eco Earth. They can swallow the chunks of husk and become impacted. Check out the pacman care sheet on this forum if you haven't already.
