Step 1 create the background and from expanding foam, add the branches and add the eco earth to the background using 'gold label' black silicone sealant
.
Step 2 add the live plants
Step 3 add the branch which you can see on the left (the water bowl / dish is also on the bottom).
Frog 1 (no name yet) is on the glass (there are 2 pictures of him / her).

Frog 2 is sat on the leaf and was given to me today.
Does this look ok for my red eyes? :-) seems better than a lot of poor set ups on you tube... but then there are also some much better ones as well... so im hoping it fits somewhere in the middle.
Thanks for comments in advance.
Ben
what do you think.. be honest.. no hard feelings..... is it any good? I've still got to add the leaf litter and moss... which i hope will grow in.. looks a bit un-natural at the moment.
I love the background and built in plant holder looks amazing to me nice work! Beautiful frogs btw
It looks nice to me. Your frogs have a nice home.
Very nice. Don't forget to put a pic in the enclosure of the month contest.

Im a little concerned the plant on the right is going to outgrow the tank very soon. Observe which plants your frogs choose to sleep on. I have noticed that they prefer slick smooth leaves. They also seem to prefer the fresh growth as opposed to old leaves. I have had Red Eyes for a few years now and I have changed out my plants to be primarly the ones they will sleep on. If I notice that they don't use a particular plant for whatever reason I eventually change it out. So over time you will have a whole tank full of just the plants they use. For breeding they tend to like the very large banana leaf type plants (just my observation) that are draped over a water source. "Most" Red Eyes will choose to sleep on plant leaves. If they are sleeping on the glass that tells me they are not happy with the leaf selection. (Again, just my observations and not meant to offend anyone).
Hey thanks for posting, my red eyes like sleeping on the plant u have stated u think will out grow the tank soon... in fact they love that plant.. they also like the bromeliad but not so much the plant with the smaller leaves... so i might get that one changed...![]()
Looks great, I like the vines on the background, and the colors really look nice.
Its looking good. . Trial and error with out harming everything.![]()

What do you think?
It looks absolutely beautiful to my untrained eye!![]()
Great viv! Those frogs are lucky you have an owner who takes pride in building them a proper vivarium, not like videos I too have seen youtube.
Very nice job!![]()
Thanks.
Do you think moss would be a good edition?
I know moss is hard to grow... but do you know any species that will be suitable for a vivarium... ive done research but i just want to some views on people who have had experience keeping it in their vivs first hand.
