A guy about 5 posts down was selling a male for 100$ if you live in california they have a reptile show coming up in sacramento. Although most pixies
for sale will be tiny like 1.5 inches so you cant tell sex. So last year i bought 2 from same expo and got lucky getting one of each.

I don't see how it would be much different from any other large animal, such as a larger snake. I would be most worried about the pyxie freaking out, and trying to jump its way out.

Would be interesting to see how someone would ship a 7-8" svl male.

Well, I was thinking: I just bought 3 little ones, so I don't know what sex they are. However, the odds are, one of them is a male. If you went to the November expo and couldn't find a confirmed male, we could do a frog exchange.

@Jcal Someone just posted a thread in the for sale section on selling a presumably male pixie frog (3 inch juvenile). He said he heard it croak last night; I'm not sure how trustworthy he is, but thought you might be interested in checking it out.
