My 4 Grays were out hunting and I decided to briefly mist the tank to both bring the humidity up and make their food a little more active. I turned around to put the bottle back and heard one of them chirp. I actually jumped because I'd never heard it before, and to me, it sounded more like the squeak I would imagine a mouse would make if someone stepped on it, lol.
Does this mean anything in particular? Though I'm aware they do chirp, I don't know under what circumstances, except if one is being bothered by another. Did I somehow stress them by misting the tank? Each was on its own perch in various locations, so I'm not sure what prompted it. I also still have no idea what sex they are, as they're all about the same size and their throats all look the same. Not to mention they're only a little over 3 months old.![]()
