Monster Bullfrog

Yeah me too. Very large and fat. Its been quite a few years ago for me. I miss finding wild frogs and toads of these sizes. I once saw a very bright yellow frog in a creek bed that was low. It was colorec like a Golden Mantella yet those are rather small and aren't from here so I'm not sure what it was. Maybe its an exstinct species. I have never seen such bright color on a wild frog in Ohio ever again. I still wonder what it was today and will never forget. It was definetly a water frog though as it jumped in the creek when I got close enough to get a good look. I was like 13 or 14 then.

Once when I was at a lake I was walking in the water trying to catch small fish and I seeped on a HUGE frog shaped like a leaf. It was HUGE at least 12 inches easy...it was def a water frog cuz it swam off super fast into the deep water..scared the helllllll out of me that's for sure Hahaha...

I still believe there are monster frogs out there like these mentioned above and of course some found like nickc posted. I always look for them when I'm out at a nature preserve or just out in the grass. All the large toads I've seen were just out in the grass hunting.
