I paid $15.99 for Grif. After I purchased everything I needed to give him a good start as a baby I spent over $260.00. I've purchased a lot more since then and now that I have 2. I didn't spend as much for the babies setup. Maybe half of what I paid for all Grif's essentials. Getting started is expensive. Maintaining is not as much. I'm not sure if you're supposed to use Black lights for Pacmans even if they make them as a heat

20h1. Whats the temp in the room. In your case since you have one pacman .I would get a 2.5 glass tank with screen lid. This tank will give him room for a water dish. You can get a small heat pad and put it on the other side of water bowl. This way he has a cool side, and a warm side. When he gets bigger, then he can go to a larger replica of the 2.5 setup. You mist him every day and throw the food by him. Put your temp/hum gages so you can monitor him .If he needs more heat you can put a 25 watt blue light on top of the lid. No fire risk to worry about. I have to take the ac out from the window . I use 25 watt blue lights that mimic the moon for my WTF. Tonight its cold out . The temp is 76/ humidity is 55.
