expensive little toy u got there lol I'm bout to buy my nikon d50 to start taking pictures heard its a good beginners camera
I've been meaning to use my new Nikon D3100, but when I purchased it, I bought a 55-300mm and a 150-600mm Telephoto lenses (Over 2 grand just in lenses lol) as I use it primarily for long distance wildlife photography, and at a minimum shooting range of 20ft with my smallest lens, it makes photographing a frog quite daunting... lol
I'll have to pick up a macro lens...
Yeah, used Camera equipment is hard to sell. BTW, your photos are amazing!![]()
Eel noob, you are very creative and great coordination with colors. Those will make great living room pics and frog room,or post cards. The list is endless. Good job.
Pretty frog and goes nicely with the red
Another option for a darker container is a glass aquarium. This would work especially well for the 'above' shots if you have an open frame style of stand or can safely position it between two tables so the background of the floor is far away or otherwise not hit by your light. Or put a piece of black felt below it. Or whatever colour you'd like. Reflections off the glass should be pretty minimal or non-existant with the lighting setup you have here. In the other angles it would be trickier to make this seamless though, you'd need to avoid having any edges of the tank visible so you might need a pretty big tank as that looks like a pretty big frog!
A d50! That's getting old in the tooth but the sensor is still a beauty and capable of great stuff and should be pretty darn cheap these days. Enjoy it!
Thanks for kind words.
Thanks.
Going to have a look around Home Depot and Menards first to see if they have anything. If not I might consider doing that.
Thanks

Thanks
I have seen that technique being used with crested geckos. Just haven't tried it out myself.
