    Default From plastic to real

My fire bellies are doing fine. Today I bought them some real plants. I bought 2 chlorophytum comosum ocean, and a tradescantia huminensis. I bought them as "mini plants", they will have a Smurf size for the rest of their life.

I only have one plastic bush left in my vivarium and some fake bamboo (well, the leaves are fake).

I placed the chlorophytum in small containers (not visible) so their roots don't stay wet all the time.
The tradescantia is placed inside the big (clay) root in the middle with lots of moos.

I grow the moos myself in my backyard under a tree.

    Hope you like my vivarium!

Thanks! FBT's are great and not shy. They didn't move while I was working on the vivarium. One of them even jumped on my hand and wouldn't leave....

True! When I open the fruit fly box they will go wild. They like the flies more than the crickets.

Thanks! Everytime when I want to take some pictures, it looks like they are posing, just for the picture. I can take extreme close ups of them, and they don't mind at all!

Today I received 3 new plants. No more plastic plants!

1 phalaenopsis and 2 guzmanias. They are all mini plants, they will stay small all their life.

This is how it looks right now:
