Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis or azurea

Thanks guys,
this is one of my favorite tanks. I set it up for a long time before getting the frog for it. I have trimmed it since that picture but it is still very dense. The frog can utilize most of the tank. The main problem I am facing is did the frog come from paraguay or suriname. If suriname then its hypochondrialis and if paraguay then its azurea. I know its not tomopterna because the pattern and body shape isn't right. I will get it figured out and get it some breeding mates though. Thanks for all the comments

I say hypochondrialis. Certainly not tomopterna. Most imports are hypos. Nice frog.

Thanks I think hypochondrialis as well. We I got her a lot of hypos were being imported. Now I think azurea are starting to come in but I am pretty certain its a hypo. It will be nice to find her mates. This is my first leaf frog but im sure it wont be the last. Agalychnis, Phyllomedusa, Cruziohyla, Hylomantis, all awsome frogs. Cant wait to get more

I'd say it is a Phyllomedusa azurea.
To my knowledge the hypochrondialis has a distinct line between the transition of green to the lighter cream (?) coloration.
If the picture shows this correctly, this specimen has a smooth transition so to speak.
I'll try and use 2 distinct pictures below so it's easier to devine what i mean.

I will try to get a better pic of the face but this is great information. I have never heard that distinction. Thanks again everyone. We will get this narrowed down

I didnt know that Wesley. Im now interested to see more pics of the OP's frog. If what you say is true, I wonder how many hypochondrialis in the hobby have been incorrectly labeled...

I took some more pictures but my camera isn't really doing what I need it to. I will post the pictures later but they don't change much. What I have observed is that the tree frog doesn't have a distinct line separating the green and white colors of the upper lip but it does have hints of the line in places around the line. It isn't strong but it is there. So this makes it harder to classify based on those photos because it is not like either. I will be asking a few more questions to the pet store owner.
