He is growing like wild fire. Keep up the good work Heather. Yours is outgrowing all of ours.lol Maybe you can tell us some of your secrets.![]()
Awe, thanks! He's pretty routine. I've been very lucky. I just do the usual. He's a good eater. He pretty much burrows, eats, soaks, poops, burrows. He sometimes hops around at night. He looks out of the front glass when he's hungry, lol!
He's loving his little side wall heaters. I have one on each side of his favorite corner. He burrows there everyday and just peeks out. Too cute! I dig out a good handful of his substrate there and rotate new every couple of days to keep it fresh.
I've been sprinkling his crickets with calcium/D3 every other feeding or so and his herptivite once a week. He eats three to five large crickets every night and once a week to week and a half he gets two wax worms if he wants them. Sometimes he ignores them. I don't let him eat for fifteen minutes because I'm afraid he'd blow up, lol! He'll just keep eating and eating. This seems to keep him healthy. I change his soaking water everyday and extra if he leaves waste in it. I just use dechlorinated tap water.
I've been misting 3-4x/day because I turned the furnace up and it's dry in the house. I've been turning up the substrate every couple of days or so.
I plan to change out his substrate completely every month to six weeks. I haven't had him very long yet.
He has been very easy to take care of. That's it really.
It's fun to watch him grow up.
How about everyone else? Any good tips or suggestions?

If people took care of there frogs like you do.There wouldn't be any casualty's. You are on the money. Pacman don't need heat lamps. Heat pads are OK and make sure The right size pad for the right size tank. Some one used a pad for a 55 gal on his 10 gal pacman frog. The frog died.!!!
