Raw beef for frogs & toads

Now that it's getting cooler, finding moths and flies is getting harder to do. Can I feed organic beef, be it hamburger or whole meat? I now feed crickets, mealworms (sparingly) and waxworms (treat), just looking for more options.

No. Red meat should not be a staple for amphibians.

Stick with store or online bought crickets, earth worms, meal worms and wax worms for the cold months. Any pet store or walmart should have these year round.

Thanks for the info. It’s so hard to determine who is right and wrong with all the info out on the web. But so far the info I’ve recv’d from here has kept my Cope’s and Fowler’s happy and healthy.
