    Default South American Pacman Folklore/Myths

I thought this would be fun to post as there are a lot of pacman owners here on the forum and I have family in South America. These are just three myths out of many in the continent.

Myth 1: Pacman frogs will bite the lips of cattle grazing too close to them and won’t let go until the hapless cow or horse dies of starvation.
Myth 2: Pacman frogs will bite your fingers and will not relinquish their grasp until sundown or worse yet until you have to sever your fingers to get the frog off!
Myth 3: Horned frogs have venoms so potent that a bite would mean instantaneous death!

Obviously none of them are true hahahaha! These myths were probably started to show how pacman frogs are feisty eaters and how they use aggression to deter their predators from eating them.

Wow! That's funny. Lol! I wonder if they use those to scare kids into leaving Horned Frogs alone.

In those days you had no tv,internet(frogforum) lol. Every body would gather together and the elderly would pass the myths down to the next generation. When i was a kid. My grandmother would tell us stories about coyotes and wolfs, and the ants and grasshopper story. The cow with the fox.lol. That was their entertainment.lol
