Also, make sure you keep the temperature up. Around 82/83 degrees during the day, even as high as eighty five. 79/80 at night. Don't let the higher temps dry it out though. He/she still need moisture too.
Thanks everyone, I will keep you all up to date on how he/she is doing.
Thanks everyone for your advice on caring for my pacman, unfortunately it died about two weeks ago despite my best efforts. It grew in size during the several days I was force feeding, but never pooped. I believe it was impacted ever since I got it and that no mater what I did the outcome was inevitable. I will use what I have learned here to better care for my next pacman. And on a happier note, I picked up a new pacman today that seems to be very healthy!
sorry for the loss my man, unfortunately stuff like this happens, glad you picked up a new one now show some pics !
Sorry for you precios loss. I'm sorry he couldn't overcome the impact. The important thing is you did everything that you could do. I would go back to that butcher store and tell them what happened. If they are real humans they would do right by you. It was no brainer. Sorry you had to go thru all that. I am very lucky so far. Thank God. Can we see a pic of you new friend. Maybe this will help out the situation.![]()
I told the pet store what had happened and why I think it happened, and they have now changed the way they keep the frogs.
I'm sorry sorry for your loss. I really wish there was more that could have been done. I'm glad the pet store has taken your advice. That rarely happens. I hope you have a better experiance this time and most definetly post pics. You did your best and hopefully your other Pac passed happy.
