New to Pac's! Excited!

OK, so here he is. Im assuming "he" cause someone on here said the males have brownish black dots on the belly, and he does. Still a baby! Enjoying a worm.
This is his new home. It a 20L. I know its a little big for him right now, so I have it FLOODED with live plants and a couple fake ones, to break it up a bit. It also has a background on it now too, on the back and right side.

On a side note.... He has been burrowed for days.... actually more like a couple weeks. Fully submerged and wont eat. Every couple days I will dig him out and try to feed him. Sometimes he'll eat a butter worm or two, some days nothing. Ive tried everything from earthworms, wax worms, butter worms, to crickets and fruit flys. I read they should eat every day when they a juveniles, but I also read not to disturb them too much if they are burrowed. The tank stays around 80F and humidity is around 65-70. I keep the soil moist, and he has a water bowl, but only used it once in the 3 or 4 weeks ive had him. Im concerned about him not eating. Any thoughts

I think the tank might be too big for him, what size is he ? I think a 5 or 10 gallon tank would do since it's small and it can catch its food easier

I agree with Tiko. Your frog may be stressed from the enclosure. It is too big and I don't think flooding it with plants will change that. You need a 5 or 10 gallon tank.

Well. I am kinda strapped for cash, and I had the 20 on hand. I just put him in there 2 days ago. He has been buried a couple weeks. He not interested in any food. He hasn't moved so he does not know how big it is, and there is only a 8in MAX line-of-sight anywhere in the tank.

Believe me he senses the open space. The light is to bright and . For now a plastic shoe box will do drill some holes in the sides. Add some coco fiber and a water dish. He will be happier there. You must keep it at 80/65. Get him in a smaller container with right temp/humidty. No lights.

BG knows what he's talking about. He is very experienced with Pacmans. If your frog doesn't. Start eating regularly it may cause serious health issues. Vitamin deficiency and calcium deficiency causing metabolic bone desease. Your frog may waste away and die. You may have to force feed if your frog doesn't eat soon.

When he gets real skinny where you can see his thigh bones, then you have to force feed him with a pinky injected with liquid calcium/vitamins. They are made from flukers at petco for 7.99 each. The syringe ,you can get at drug store or some one with diabetes. That should be after 7 days not eating. Keep an eye on him. You have to get reed of the light. Put him in a small grow out container.

The temp has to be at 80. Mine didnt come back even when the temp was 80. I had to help him eat until he was strong. After a weeks help withfeeding, now he's my best eater.

I had to do the same for my Pac Grif. My frog fell ill and didn't eat. I had to force feed everyday for 2 months. I finally pulled my Pac through and saved its life. It eats and eats and poops and eats Lol! Trust me the not waiting to fix a problem and not waiting to long before taking action and force feeding your frog is key to its survival if it stops eating. Both mine and BG's methods worked my frog just took a lot longer to recover from what was ailing him/her. Take the advice.
