I am about ready to transform my 15 gallon tall into the tadpoles new home. When they get thier front legs they get moved if I am right. The bottom can hold about 3 inches of water. I dont know the best set up for this age of whites.
I was going to fill up the 3 inches with water, put in a small wooden branch from my hermit crab tank (cleaned of course) in the bottom. For the plants I am just going to do a few fake plants, one being the one in thier current all water set up.
Do I need to do anything else, or do something completely different? How soon after I move them will I need to change it to a regular whites set up?

my toad and frog tadpoles all started to do that shortly before their front legs appeared. once they get front legs fully then you could add a slopped rock on one side, just make sure the water is deep enough to swim in almost completely submerged, and shallow enough for them to sit up and breath! Good luck! Also, White's can usually climb very well as soon as they develop all four legs! make sure the lid is secure
