Hmm mine is brown too he was the smallest one at the PETCO and was really skinny. So far he is active and showing all signs of being healthy he eats well and is plump. Any ideas or will he always be my little brown guy?

Yeah, untill you give him away, then he will be somebody else's little brown guy.

Seriously, if you want him to be green, make the terrarium more on the lighter side in color.

I have a bright light and lots of green plants and green back grounds on two sides.

One of my White's is a lovely mint green, and the other is more of a khaki green (not quite green, not quite brown....a bit like a bogey!!). They came from a pet shop, although I bought them the day they arrived at the shop. They're currently kept in a tank with green plants in a fairly bright spot. They haven't changed colour at all in the 2 weeks I've had them.

I put them in their new tank with plants to climb on ... they both turned green within about 3 hours... well one is olive and the other one looks a very nice shade of blue green... anyhow they both had some crickets right off the bat... so I think they are doing fine... but boy were they both dark brown when I got them. waiting on the first poops to see what we have...
