    Default Weekly soak

I already posted this in the pacman forum but figure I'll post it here as well for the members that only come to the pyxie forum.

Wasn't planning on taking any photos but when I noticed their buckets next to each other I figure it was a good opportunity to show some size comparison.

Pixies are definitely the kings, no doubt. Gluttonous eaters too I might add. Nice contrast of colors on your Ornate; I don't typically care for Ornates, but yours is good lookin'.

Those were either cocofiber off his body or his shed.

When my boy gets a little older I want to do this for him, he's too nervous right now. I tried soaking him in a big warm bath while cleaning out his tank and he wanted out really bad so I had to hurry. I didn't want to stress him out, but he'll calm down as he gets older. I agree with you that it is beneficial for them to get old skin off and take a piss or a dump if they need to in the warm water to help them.

Soaking is as important as food to frogs. They need it get the dead skin off. I caught my baby brown pacman, and pixie shedding last night. It was great watching the whole process.

I watched mine do it about a week ago at night, it was cool. At first when I was laying in my bed and watching him do it I thought he might of had some respiratory infection from opening his mouth and all that but it turned out to be just shedding haha.

As long as you keep his water, substrate, clean with a good diet, and vitamins/calcium/D3. He will never get sick, old, but never sick. Keep his immune system 100%.

Yup that's everything I do already . I just worry sometimes when some unusual behavior is going on because I'm still very new to this hobby again, and that's just the way I am haha. As I get better with him, he should be pretty top notch. Thanks.
