Light Cycle

Hmmm...I don't know then. I mean I feel like I've been keeping the temps/humidity pretty damn close to perfect. But whenever I go to feed, she just shuts her eye's and kind of shy's away from it. The first day I got her she ate 3 or 4 earthworms, and a few days after I got her to eat a horned worm. That's it though...My room gets light but the temps are what concern me, and I figured with a light on top she would be more of "aware" of the light cycle lol. I'm reaching here...lol. I'm wondering if I should wait a good week before I feed next just to stir up her hunger a little bit. I also kind of feel I'm stressing her out by offering every night. I'm hoping it's just stress from moving her into my house.

Every night is to much. He's not hungry. Let him rest up. Some times they put there nose down when you put food in there face,and thwn they get this rush and jump at the food. They love moving food.

It's perfectly fine to get a light for her, it's not going to affect her. As we have already mentioned the lighting most likely did not play a part in her being un-interested in food. If you got the temp/humidity almost close to perfect then you're doing fine, only offer food to her every 2-3 days, unless it's a baby then ideally everyday (From what I recall yours isn't a baby though, correct?)... If she isn't interested then yeah, wait another day or two and she'll be hungry. If they are that hungry and provided that you have the temp/humidity correct, then she will eat. Where was she before you moved her into the house?

Well I got her at the white plains expo. She's about as round as a doughnut, and I'm not 100% what her old conditions we're. I was kind of concerned because the guy was an idiot. He didn't even know what she was eating, and got her as a trade. She was just sitting there the whole day, and as I was leaving I offered him another price and he bit. I wasn't aware that you weren't supposed to offer everyday, so I will leave her a lone for a bit.

Yea let him.I still think its a male,lol let him get hungry . You right who knows the past of this poor frog. All i know is he's in good hands right now with a great dad and a whole bunch of supporting friends looking out.lol

You still really think it's a male? lol! I don't know after seeing all those pics of females, "it" just has that female looking head idk lol! I would be pleased if it was a boy though not gonna lie!

My guess from looking back at the 2nd set of pictures, I think it's a nearly full grown female.
