coming up in my bio class i have to dissect a frog. now of course i love frogs and i am kinda worried about doing so. i feel it is immoral. kinda like me dissecting a dog when i love them so much. now maybe this is a learning opportunity for me to find out how the frog works, but i just dont know what to do, any opinions?

If it would be me, it's a no brainer. I would absolutly do it. It's good opportunity to learn more about frogs in general. I really don't see how doing an dissection is immoral, as long as it in a study and the frogs are dead when the diasection begins.
The frog is already dead. You aren't causing it any pain, and you're learning more about frogs by dissecting it. Seems like an easy decision.
Definitely use this as a learning experience.
