Can my whites tree frogs eat maple bugs?

i have about a thousand ( seriously ) maple bugs just outside my door in my front yard on a tree. i was wondering if i can possibly make use of these annoyances and feed them to my whites tree frogs? does anyone know? thanks!

What up Kassy,
I'd probably advise against feeding them Maple bugs.. I remember I gave one of my whites one and he spat it out, and they really don't have much meat on them, they are predominately shell and appear to secrete some kind of strange odor. Go for something juicy
