My RETF terrarium gets misted twice daily and wiped down weekly. I clean any visible feces and dead crickets daily. Her water bowl is rinsed and refilled daily. The waterfall has a filter and pads are changed every 1-2 months. Water changes for waterfall and pond area are done weekly. A good reminder for me to wipe down the tank and rinse off the plants and decor for the week is when the calcium powder from the crickets is quite visible.

It is actually a very quick process and only takes me about 5-10 minutes in the evening. I fill a gallon jug with dechlorinated tap water so it is readily available. And it makes water exchanges super quick. On full wipe down, chore day, with water changes in pond it only takes about a half an hour or less.

For my Whites Tree frog's terreium, daily cleaning includes removing any visible feces or other waste, i.e. dead crickets, and cleaning and refilling his water bowl. I then clean his terrarium throughly every 2 to 3 weeks. I am a clean freak when it comes to my frog’s housing area and make sure everything—the tank, furnishings, soil, moss, etc..—is either thoroughly cleaned or replaced.
