Other feeding Options

Another thing that works for me is misting the whole enclosure before feeding. That will usually wake up/get the frogs attention.

I've got a Zoo Med Reptifogger hooked up to a Zoo Med Hygrotherm. As soon as the the humidity drops a couple % it kicks the fogger on. I will mist with distilled water to keep the soil moist. As soon as the light goes out or I switch to the night lights my Pacs get up and are ready to eat.

Anyone else have trouble resisting the erge to feed your Pacman? If they're hungry they'll eat right? I will skip a day everyother week. Anyone else have this problem? Lol!

yea mine just doesnt seem to be eating I put one in and he saw it i even used tongs and wiggled it in front of him and nothing he just burrowed himself under and thats was it... i honestly think he just borrows himself and thats it i rarely see him should i just leave the horn worm in there over night and hope he eats it?

He/she is probably a secret eater. Considering that when you try to feed him/her the little one buries to hide. He/she might feel stressed or pressured too much. If you have a shallow dish and I mean shallow to where its almost a plate. Make sure its small too so its not stressing for your frog because of something new in his/her home. Place the worm in the dish and leave it over night. Leave a couple small crickets in too. He/sh might just be tempted. Also make sure if you have a light on when you're trying to feed that its a night time bulb like a moon light bulb or infra red. Bright lights at night when they are active can stress them out. Makes them feel visible and unhidden. Less secure.

What are you guys doing to get your pacs to eat... i just dont get it ive seen tons of vids were the second you throw food the in tank they go for it.... mine doesnt at all.... conditions are perfect temp is 80 humidity is 75 i have a heat pad on the side wall of the tank and a 25 wat purple light above the "hot" side i just dont know what to do could be stressed out because there is not background on his tank and seeing his reflection and itis freaking him out? hell maybe eat around 5 crickets a week... I tried horned worms nothing tried night crawlers and nothing.... and now i see him in his tank just staring at a pinkie not even doing anything and he has eaten pinkies before what should i do.... HELP!!!!!

my frogs the same way just looks at the food and won't eat he's getting me worried...im buying him a bigger cage thursday and a light bulb and not feed him a week after see if that helps
