    Default Other feeding Options

So it seems that my pacman is no longer a fan of crickets there have been 3 crickets in his tank for the past 2 days and nothing so im not really sure what to do one thing im thinking is that they are smaller than the ones he is used to so perhaps he wont bother with them idk... He is a pretty good eater he loves pinkies he will eat one once a week with no prob but from what i read giving him a pinkie once a week is not good i mean he is norm size he is not fat at all and i dont know what else to feed him.... I tried night crawlers when i 1st got him and he didnt even bother with those... my local petstore just got in horned worms from which i understand are very good for pacs but they are $16 and im gonna assume if he did bother going for the night crawlers he wont go after them and i dont really wanna waste $16.. what other options do i have?

The only way to know if he'll eat other foods is to try. My pacman Grif loves Hornworms. Your Pac might to. If he eats Hornworms he may decide to eat night crawlers too. That's how I got Grif to eat night crawlers. He loves them too now. Just make sure they aren't to big for you little guy or he may not try and eat them.

Try some pink minnows aka rosies. Try to tong feed him the fish. The rosies should be on the small size. Good luck.

Not to burst your bubble, but it is possible that it burrowed into the substrate. They will do that. I recommend next one you offer watch him/her to see if he/she actually eats it. I've seen them burrow if not eaten quickly.
