He/she is probably a secret eater. Considering that when you try to feed him/her the little one buries to hide. He/she might feel stressed or pressured too much. If you have a shallow dish and I mean shallow to where its almost a plate. Make sure its small too so its not stressing for your frog because of something new in his/her home. Place the worm in the dish and leave it over night. Leave a couple small crickets in too. He/sh might just be tempted. Also make sure if you have a light on when you're trying to feed that its a night time bulb like a moon light bulb or infra red. Bright lights at night when they are active can stress them out. Makes them feel visible and unhidden. Less secure.

If the temperature and humidity are right, then lets start by asking how long you've had your frog for? Refusing to eat can be caused by stress induced illness... Is there a lot of interaction around their enclosures besides not being handled only when necessary? The symptoms your frog is displaying can be answered by an article I took from FrogForum on First Aid written by Paul Rust. Should clear up any questions.

"One of the problems commonly found among frogs is stress. It is caused by prolonged captivity in a small area or a vivarium with too many frogs in it. Messy vivariums and too much exposure to humans can also cause stress.
Symptoms: animals won't eat and/or lay on their backs while twitching (often occurs with young animals). If you buy a new frog, place it in a small dish with some tepid water and a teaspoon of honey. Place the frog in this solution for 30 minutes. Then quarantine the frog for 30 days."

    Listless and doesn't eat.
    Hypothermal.
Same as treatment for stress. Duration: 7 days.

You can also try rubbing a type of earthworm against their face for a small amount of time and see if they bite down on it, if your frog is still displaying these symptoms even after you have tried either the advice I gave you or the article Paul Rust wrote... Either resort to force feeding it, or taking it to a vet. Unfortunately, frogs can suffer from vitamin and supplements deficiency from not being fed for a prolonged period of time without eating. Better to act now, before it gets really bad.

The only thing i can think of is a few weeks ago i moved him from a small tank to a larger 10g tank.... maybe that stressed him out so much that all be does now is burrow? I really dont get it... what im thinking about doing it leaving him in the basement for a week where there is no one around and seeing if that helps on this is that there is no daylight in the basement so it will be "night mode" all the time.... also what are you guys using as a lid for your tanks i have a grated one and a plastic one.... shouldi be using the plastic one so all the humidity stays in?

depends on how the humidity/temp goes in the tank. takes a few test to get it right. dont cover it up all the way for the first time, unless you have and temp control that shut off by itself when temp is high enough. it's really easy to get over heated. i cover like 80% of my grated one with plastic wrap and put lights on the uncovered part. works fine for me,right now is around 65% moist(haven't mist it this morning), room temp is 62 around 80 degree in the tank with both light and under tank heater on.

First off do you have three sides of the tank covered with some sort of background. Having 3 sides of the tank covered makes the frog feel more secure. No distractions outside the tank. Putting your frog in the basement will cause temps to drop in the enclosure if it is cool down there and you don't have a heat source other than the UTH. A large drop in tempreture of about12 to 15 degrees. Will stress the frog too. If you get a heat lamp which I recommend for better heat control. Purchase the lamp with a dimmer. Use the metal mesh lid with the lamp. If your frog doesn't eat soon from the start of when he stopped about 10 days max you should begin force feeding.

the basement is heated some im not worried about a temp drop and no i dont have a back ground on the side because i a heat pad on the sides of the tank.... should i put the heat pads under the tank and then get something to cover the sides? and if i use the metal mesh lid wont all the humidity escape?

@Joe, don't worry about covering up the 3 sides for now... Don't put the heat pads under the tank; the metal mesh lid will help humidity escape, yes. You can cover half of the lid with a damp hand cloth or plexiglass - glass. Just leave a little bit of area for ventilation and a lamp if you're using one with the heat pads. To make your frog feel secure, since you're not doing the 3 sides covered, get some artificial plants or hides to let him hide under during the day.

I took some pics so you can see what the tank looks like and the setup i think there is plenty of covering on one side of the tank near the water bowl "cool side"and then i left the heated side wide open.... should i put the plants on heated side as well?.... as you can see it seems he has came up to the surface a bit since he has been down in the basement.... Also you can see what i did with the lid. the plastic lid is about an inch short so some of the air can escape.... you think this is good or put the mesh one on? Also i was thinking about just leaving his down there for 5 days or so with no food and then tossing a bunch of crickets in there and seeing what happens? good idea or should i just toss in a few and try to see if he eats them by tom?

When your frog is stressed it may be a bad idea to have a bunch of crickets in his cage as they can increase the stress level and literally pick at the frog.

I really liked the basic first aid article that was posted, I looked around the web a bit and could not find a source to get the recommended meds to keep on hand without a prescription. Anyone know where to get them?

Now i read the article now if im not mistake the treatment for stress is place it in a small dish with some tepid water and a teaspoon of honey. Place the frog in this solution for 30 minutes?
