    Default Tank is almost finished

YAY my tank is almost finished. I put expanding foam in it then carved it. Today I put the first layer of silicone onto the tank and Sunday I hope to put the second layer on and press the soil into it. I will put photos on when it's finished.
I have to say I hate the smell of the silicone, it smells of the taste of salt and vinegar chips but an extremely overpowering version.
It's about time I finished it, the frogs have been hibernating for nearly three months and are now starting to wake up. I just haven't had time to do it so I'm now making time for it.

I look forward to seeing pictures. I've been finishing up a new tank of my own and I agree on the silicone thing. Pee-yew!

I'd love to see pics of your tank when it's finished. I accidently took a massive gulp of the fumes so now can just smell and taste silicone 4 hours after using it and my throat tickles.

All of the soil is stuck on and the perspex divider is siliconed in place... my tank IS FINISHED YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
2 months of hard work finally over and I'm $74 lighter than when I started lol.
I still need to put the plants and water in as the silicone for the divider still stinks nearly 3 days after siliconing, hopefully I can put it in tomorrow (if the silicone doesn't stink).
My frogs are out of hibernation and feeding well, which is great for me, I only had my tads turn into frogs and then a couple of months later they hibernate so I was nervous about that.
I will post pics when the soil and water are in, I hope it looks good, I've got a long wait till it looks at its best as I have to wait for the moss to grow on the soil.
My Bird's Nest Ferns are almost back to full health after their encounter with some locusts with the munchies.
