Default Superworms- too hard to digest?

Some pacmans have a hard time digesting superworms- should I keep that only as an occasional treat for my Pacman? My pacman loves them, but I read the exoskeleton is hard to digest. Is there a good alternative kind of larvae?

Large Pacman frogs can digest them without any problems. It's usually only an issue for younger frogs. If you want a good treat (and I mean treat - because it's not a good staple), try waxworms. No hard exoskeleton.

Our pacman gets a dola worm (Pachnoda marginata) as a treat from time to time. They're a bit bigger than a waxworm. Crush the head first though. They've got nasty jaws.

I've read that large super worms can be dangerous for Pacmans because they can possibly chew their way through the frogs stomach. A very nastey thaught. I would assume it would be said the same for the dola worm.
