    Talking Hello

    I'm frogface.

I've been keeping dart frogs for around 2 years. A couple weeks ago, I got 2 beautiful P tomopterna from Mike Novy. Now I'm getting all excited about tree frogs. Currently, I've got them in an 18 inch cube. The scaping and planting is pretty weak. Been doing a lot of reading and looking at builds, and, am cleaning out a 26g bow front for their new home. I have a big pile of branches and I'm itching to use it. Thanks for all the great ideas and pics!

They have a 2% uvb light angled in through the screen section, an infrared heat light coming in through the glass. The daytime temps are upper 70s to 80. Night time temps are low 70s. Humidity during the day is 50-60%. Night time humidity (after a light misting) goes into the 90s and then has dropped to 60ish-70ish by day break. They are eating large hydei and small crickets. Bugs are dusted with Repashy Calcium Plus and the crickets are eating Mike Novy's cricket mash

Let me know what I need to change. Thanks!

Here are pictures of my new babies:

And my favorite pics of all, poo! I'm always so happy to see new frogs pooing.

Welcome to our community. I know Michael Novy is a big fan of UV for these guys but I'm not sold on it. However, I don't think it does any harm either. Otherwise, I think you're doing a great job and I want to thank you for showing us your photos!
