I bought my red eyes the other day and they both looked a healthy weight. They are moving around at night etc... But one seems to like clinging to the glass/background near the bottom when I look for him? Probably just over reacting because I've only had them a few days... But is this normal?
They both seem active at night because they are in different positions in the morning :-P just one of them seems to be nearer the floor sleeping... He occasionally is at the top though... Is this normal? Is he just stressed due to settling in?
Plus they don't appear to be eating from the bowl technique atm. :-(
My little girl hid on the ground rock cave near a leaf for a couple days when I first got her. Now she has her favorite spots which are on or under her back leaf, on her bamboo, or on her front branches, all near the top. She also will not eat from a bowl. Now that I let the crickets run free she eats them right up. If they seem healthy and are pooping I wouldn't worry. It took her about two weeks to really relax and she hid a lot. Now she doesn't care and will sit and look right out at you at night. I hope they do well for you.
Have any pictures?

Good answer Heather, I have Whites Tree Frog (from a chain store) that took months to sleep topside,
Maybe used to improper habbitat and used to the ground. Check your temps near the top part, but otherwise, its kinda normal.
Thanks!
