Just got bit!!!

I was cleaning my pixie's tub, as you all know,the water bowl, and poop. As i was cleaning the poop he gave me his tooth. He grabbed my thumb,and wouldn't give it back. The more i pulled the more it would hurt. After 5 seconds he finally gave me my beat up bruised swollen thumb. These guys are no joke. Its those teeth like bones I felt the most.

well you know what they say you give a pixie frog human flesh it will want some more, (Three months later Pixie frogs take over the world)

He was half under the substrate,so i decided to dig him out. I took out the water bowl first and it was no problem. This is when he was warming up for the attack. .I put the bowl back,and filled it with fresh water. So i saw this soft flat poop,not your regular poop. When i went to scoop it out with my hand I was attacked. It was lightning fast.

It felt like you get your fingers stuck in the door. I took some alive to get rid of the inflammation. I also put it in ice first.

Like your fingers getting jammed in a door? That's scary, I'm a little uneasy to clean my pixies tank now , he's not big enough to do any damage yet though luckily. Use a cup next time or one of those reptile poop scoops, not your hand lol.

Ouch...that sounds painful. My biggest pixie(sloppy) has a thing for my hand, had 5 close calls with him now.

Mine tried to get me the other day. I was wrapping my digits around his water dish and he lunched for me with his tongue out and everything. I'm glad he missed haha.

Once they grow in their odontoids (bone teeth projections), you're ****ed if you're bit. Should be kind of fun waiting it out until they let go, or carefully prying their mouth of your finger lol.

my old Lasidora parahybana. Males die off shortly after sexually maturing. Mine only lived a year after it was "mature"
