I really can't think of a better term to describe this than, well, "wonky". My White's tree frog's eye has been, seemingly, rolling up into her head for a few days, then returning to normal. After a day or so of not being able to see her pupil, you can start to see it at the very top of her eye, then about halfway, then it returns to normal. This has happened 6 times now. It's usually the right eye, but has also happened with the left. Please see photos below.
When this first happened in mid August, I immediately freaked out and attempted to make an appointment with my vet. Well, long story short, I ended up with a "drop off" appointment with another local exotic vet I'd never seen before (where you drop off your animal in the morning and the vet takes a look at the animal whenever they have a chance between appointments), but the morning of, her eye had returned to normal, so I decided not to take her in. She is as mobile as ever, is eating fine, and does not appear to be in any pain around her eye area.
History/Current Husbandry: She was sold to me in 2009 as a long term captive of 8 years. That puts her at at least 10.5 years old, but she is probably older. When I first got her, she was extremely skinny (last photo), but has since put on quite a bit of weight. Yes, I am aware that she is fat (hence her name, Miss Fatty Frog), but she only gets 1 or 2 ~1-1.5" dubia roaches 2-3x a week and has plenty of room to move around. She is currently housed in a planted 36x18x24 Exo Terra with another female that I purchased with her (Miss Skinny Frog, because she is smaller, although also no longer skinny, but still skinniER). Their temps are typically in the mid 70's to mid/upper 80's (there is a gradient) and humidity is usually steady around 50% (misted every night). They have a soaking pool that has a filter and a heater (heats to about 78-80). They used to share their enclosure with a much smaller male until right around the same time Miss Fatty started having her eye issues. The male, who has always been very shy, stopped accepting food for 3 weeks prior to Miss Fatty's eye issues (I hand feed them individually), so I quarantined him and started treating him with Pedialyte+ReptAid soaks daily. A week after I removed him, he showed noted improvement, so I assume it was stress and nothing more (he continues to improve). I am continuing the ReptAid treatment with him, and will likely keep him in his own enclosure from here on out.
Any ideas what could be causing this?? Again, the "wonky" eye usually lasts a day or two, goes to 1/2 way back to normal, then fully to normal. This usually repeats every 10-14 days. It's usually the right eye, but has also been observed in the left. Photos are from 8/23/11, 8/25 and 8/26, respectively. Last photo is from 3/6/09, when I first got her (she is on the right). She is my absolute favorite frog, and I really want to figure out why this is happening and what I can do to fix it, if anything. I hope I have provided enough info, but if you need more, please do not hesitate to ask!! I apologize for the poor photo quality, but I did not want to use a flash with her eye issues, so they may be a bit blurry.

*bump* Anyone? I've scoured the interwebs and cannot find any information on what might be causing this. At this point I don't even know if it is a serious problem or just some sort of weird neurological tic she's developed.
My guess is that she's a little over weight and the fat is kind of sliding into view occasionally. Her eyes look similar to ones I've seen of an extremely obese WTF people were calling jaba the hut. I would google, and see if it's similar enough to you.
Good luck
