Default Red Eyes shaking their booties

My two male Red Eyes were calling constantly last night in competition...seeing who could be the loudest. Then as they were sitting about six inches from each other they started shaking their butts. I've never seen this in person before so it was very exciting to watch. They never did any physical fighting or anything but they were obviously challenging each other to see who would be top frog. They did this all night long even until the early morning. I will try and get a video of them tonight with a night camera. Waldo was my dominant male for the last few years. A couple of months ago I got Roger an adult male from a friend. He's been in quarantine and has been calling back and forth with Waldo for the last two months. Two weeks ago I put Roger in the big tank and he was pretty quiet. But last night he started up and Waldo started shaking at him. He shook back and they did that most of the night. It was very funny to watch. Macaroni, my other male, stayed out of it as usual. Waldo's never had any real competition for the girls so this breeding season should be really interesting.

My biggest male, Moria, started booty shaking recently too! He never got physical with the small male (Maximus) I also had in there, but when I introduced a third (after QT, was supposed to be a she so I call him Molly) that was more his size, I saw them really go at it! My dominant male remains king of the tank after practically throwing my new male to the ground!

Ok....I got it. I got twenty minutes of just awesome coverage. Calling, shaking their bodies, and grappling a couple of times. Man...I wish I wasn't so computer challenged. I will have to figure out how to get this on YouTube in the morning so I can post it. I didn't realize Waldo would have such an issue with another male. He's not bothered by Macaroni at all...but he sure hates Roger. I'll find a way to get it posted in the morning. Have a good night everyone.

My computer at home keeps freezing up due to such a large file. I'll take it to work with me and try to load it there.

I have it raining on them tonight (my rainchamber is kind of built into my tank). I'll let you guys know if I get some action.

Okay, here we go. Now I do warn you it is very long. I couldn't figure out how to edit it down so here is the unedited version. The good stuff starts about the ten minute mark. So you really have to love Red Eyes to watch this. If you love just sitting around watching frogs than this is the video for you. It is thirty minutes long....so be warned. Like I said at about ten minutes into he starts doing his thing. He gets jumped a couple of times from my other male. Enjoy.
