I got my pacman at Petsmart for $15.00. He/she was tiny, but is quicking getting big. I suppose it's better to buy from a breeder, but from what i've seen they are super expensive

They can be expensive like any other amphibian or reptile due to colors & patterns. Also take into account the size & age of the animal for sale. It isn't free to feed & keep them and for those of us that breed them, we are talking about animals in large numbers not just 2 or 3 animals.

The C. cranwelli we breed are in exceptional health and the colors our breeders produce are amazing. We also breed with NO hormone injections or chemicals of any kind. We guarantee that the health of our animals is our top priority.
Sometimes, you get what you pay for. $15.00 is a great deal......if the animal is healthy. Not so great a deal if you get it home & it starts having issues ie., flipping upside down, lethargic, not eating, MBD, has a massive Chytrid infection......
I wish you great luck with finding the right frog for yourself!

The Pacman frogs are not the type to enjoy handling much. I have found the Dumpy's are much more a hands on frog.

Yeah I totally agree with this, I would much rather pay for a frog $10-30 more than get a steal a large chain pet store. You bring the frog home, a month or two later the frog might have complications, etc. This is why you buy from renown reptile shops in your area or go to conventions with breeders that are reputable and house their herps with the utmost attention. Just a quick question, what other types of pacs do you guys breed? I found your youtube channel like a week ago and remembered your name from frogforum, I'll have to find it again and check out your videos.

I purchased both my C. Cranwellis from the same Petsmart. Grif got sick after I had him for 5 and a half months. It took me 2 months to nurse him back to health. Now he's back to eating normally and gaining weight well again. I don't know what made him sick but I'm. Going to try my best to make sure it doesn't happen again. So far the little baby Green C. Cranwelli is doing fine. Hasn't been acting strange or ill and has been eating and pooping regularly. I guess I've. Had a good eye so far. I have heard a lot of horror stories about people purchasing from chain stores and them being diseased or dying not long after purchase. I hope this never happens to me.

Seems that you are doing a great job keeping your pacs, your one of the exceptions out of a lot of people that buy from chain stores and know how to properly care for a frog if it is ill. Obviously some things are out of are hands to treat, but yours seem taken care of really good.

When Grif became ill I noticed right away. He was very good eater. He wouldn't wait for his crickets to come to him. He would get out of his burrow and chase them all over his enclosure. When he stopped eating all of a sudden I knew something was up. I quarentined him after about 8 days of no eating. I was going to treat him for chytrid but there were no signs of it. He was lathargic and started losing weight. After 10 days I took him to the vet and was given dewormer and antibiotics to be given once a week for 4 weeks. I was also given a whole food vitamine supplement and a can of soft food which was cat/dog food for malnourished animals. I force fed him for 2 months. After a month I tried to increase his weight I fed him 2 pinkies a week for 4 weeks while also force feeding him crickets/wax worms/night crawlers. Just before he started eating again I stopped giving the pinkys and force fed him a cricket and a Hornworm. The next night he started eating on his own. It was tough but I pulleds him through.

We are currently working on a few projects aside from the cranwelli.
We do have a website as well if you'd like to take a look. It has links to the YouTube channel also. Thanks for taking a look & thanks for the compliment!!
