    Default Pacman frog help....new user

First off, hello to all....great site!
I have a Pacman frog, and over the last 2 days he hasn't been eating. As of now, he's been on a strictly cricket diet....Last night I noticed he was sluggish, and would not go after his food. This morning, he was actually on his back, and I flipped him back over. He seems to be breathing fine, and has no apparent issues.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your frog. What temps and humidity are you keeping him at? Also can you post a picture of the tank setup? And what type of calcium/ vitamin supplements are you using and how often?

You need a temp and a humidity gauge in his tank. Humidity could be the issue but I'm no expert. Idealy they need a humidity of 70 to 80%. Are you using air conditioning? Air conditioning is bad for frogs. The temp in the enclosure may read correctly but the AC still affects them even if the gauge reads correctly.

I would say get him a plant or something for cover and get a gauge to check the humidity to make sure this is not a dehydration issue. You could also cover up three sides of the tank...that helps to reduce stress.

As Cheri has mentioned above. Cover 3 sides of the tank with some sort of background. Both sides and the back. Plants for hides also. These all make your frog feel more secure and hidden. Welcome to the forum by the way. I should have welcomed you on my first post Lol!.
